Jonathan Neufeld

Jonathan serves as the Lead Pastor at Ridge Church.

Before joining the Ridge Church team in April, 2018, Jonathan served as the Pastor of Adult Ministries and Small Groups at Willingdon Church in Burnaby for 14 years, followed by 1 year as the Campus Pastor at Village Church in Surrey.  Jonathan originally moved to B.C. from Calgary in 2000 to attend Regent College, where he earned an M.Div in Pastoral Studies. Prior to that, he worked as a high school teacher, bank teller, salesman and production manager. 

Jonathan gives overall leadership to our church and to our staff team –  under the guidance of our board and the leading of the Holy Spirit. This role gives him the opportunity on Sunday mornings to open the Bible and explain what it says about how we, as followers of Jesus, should seek to live our lives as we follow after Him.

Jonathan cares deeply about seeing our city know Jesus. His desire is that many people in our city would come to know who Jesus is and how He can transform their lives –  and that those who are already following Him would find strength, courage and hope as we continue to follow Him together.
